Our family is growing! We need your help to finish our fifth Emseni children’s home – a new home that will house up to 40 girls and their aunties.

Will you buy a cement block for $25 and help us build their new home?

Emseni is the siSwati word for “grace,” and we truly appreciate the gracious generosity that enables us to provide these homes for orphaned and abandoned children. By 2020, the Emseni Children’s Campus will consist of six homes housing a total of 240 children as well as the Oasis, our communal kitchen/dining hall/meeting space.

As you can see from the pictures below (where our girls and aunties have gathered around the spot where the foundation will be laid), this home will join the other four children’s homes on the Emseni Campus. Construction needs to begin on the new home because we are bursting at the seams, and need to have the project finished by this summer.

TFundraising ideas for schools, churches, and youth sports teamshe total cost of Emseni is $225,000 so we need 9,000 “blocks.” Here’s the good news! We have a generous donor who has offered to match all gifts, dollar for dollar, up to $60,000! Your gift of $25 becomes $50 (2 blocks), $250 becomes $500 (20 blocks) and $2,500 becomes $5,000 (200 blocks).

Help us lay the foundation for the future of the children of Project Canaan. To buy block(s), fill out the form below.

Thank you for helping us build Emseni 5 and for providing 40 girls a new home!

* Heart for Africa attempts to accurately budget each and every project we undertake.  As we promote and raise funds for each project we closely monitor the incoming dollars and close each project campaign if and when the fundraising goal is met.  In the event that an individual project is completed under budget and excess funds remain in that account, we will move those excess funds into the next area of greatest need.
